Tim Kaminski Bio

 

 

Tim Kaminski, is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.   He holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from Southwest Texas State University.  Tim has spent over 30 years in the education and healthcare industries working with major companies and schools across the United States to set up clinical & educational programs, establish business and marketing plans, recruit clinical and operational staff and developing employee recognition programs.  His clinical specialties include early childhood educational development, speech and language programs, adolescent neuro-psych, acute head injury, stroke and swallowing disorders.  4 years ago, Tim worked with the Texas Early Learning Council in helping to develop the new Infant, Toddler and Three Year Old Guidelines for the State of Texas.

 

For the past 18 years, Tim and his wife Patti have owned a consulting and marketing firm in Fort Bend County called Parish-Kaminski & Associates with an emphasis on helping non-profit organizations review their operational plans and develop fund raising and capital building campaigns across the state of Texas.  Tim has also served on several boards including Fort Bend Meals and Wheels, Lamar Educational Awards Foundation, TEXANA Behavioral Health and Disabilities, the American Cancer Society League of Fort Bend, Oak Bend Medical Center, Access Health, West Fort Bend Management District, Lone Star AEYC and he currently serves as President of the Fort Bend History Association.  In 2006 Tim completed the Leadership in Excellence for Non-Profits program at Rice University.

 

In 2008 Tim took on the operational functions of his families businesses in Rosenberg which include a childcare center, 5 after-school programs in the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District and a new 10,000 square foot children’s Academy which opened in March, 2014.  He became a licensed childcare director in 2011.  In June of 2014, Tim received the Susan B. Hargrave Trainer of the Year award from the Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children.

 

Tim and Patti, along with their two children Kassidi & Kolton, live in Missouri City.  Their children are 4th generation residents of Fort Bend County and the family as a whole believes that the most important work you can do is to give back and stay connected to your community.
