Long Acres Ranch

October Smith has embraced a career in education with a deep passion for learning and sharing that love with others.  October has a BS in Biology, an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas.  She has taught students in grades K-12 as well as pre-service teachers at a local university, worked as a district instructional technologist, was the K-12 Science Coordinator for LCISD, and is now the manager at Long Acres Ranch. October has lived in Richmond, TX, for over 20 years with her husband, two daughters and a fun flock of chickens that keep them entertained.
