Nery Salazar - Nery's Promise

Nery Salazar is a driving force in the Richmond and Rosenberg for kids in our community. Under her leadership of Nery's Promise, the number of Kids mentored have grown 100 or more and growing. Join us on Tuesday, July 8th and listen to Nery's story and her enthuiasm and passion for the work she and her staff put forward to guide these kids.

The Rotary Club of Richmond has supported Nery's Promise since 2018 beginning with building 20 beds for kids without a bed to sleep in, followed by lunches/ snacks for Tuesday evening classes starting with 40 kids which has now progressed to 100.  We also assisted with an additional 100 bed deliveries to 100 over a 2year period  and this year Rotary and Pecan Harvest Festival are granting  6 kids an opprotunity to experience one week of Summer Camp at the TW Davis YMCA Summer Camp at Jones Creek Park.
