Lamar Consolidated High School FFA
My name is Alyssa Fisher and I go to Lamar Consolidated High school. This will be my 3rd year in FFA and I am the Sentinel. This year I will be in 11th grade. In my chapter I have raised a pig, goats and a heifer. I do LDE’S, CDE’S, and SDE’s. This past year I have encouraged new people to become members of our chapter and it’s so exciting to see how much we have grown as one. It has taught me so many responsibilities and helped me with life lessons
My name is Ja’Leah Sherrill and I go to Lamar Consolidated High-school. I am my schools FFA advisor. I am starting the 2018-2019 school year off in 10th grade. In my chapter I have raised a pig, I do Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, and I take on FFA member, and now officer, responsibilities. FFA has made an impact on not only me, but many others. FFA helps others to grow and have many, not just one, personalities! It teaches how to be flexible and take on responsibility. FFA has taught me to become a little bit more bolder and has also helped me to become more of a “people person” and grow in community skills! I wish to stay in FFA and grow into the best leader that I can be!
My name is Naomi Boyer! I am going into my third year of high school now and have been in FFA since freshman year. FFA means so much to me! By competing in Leadership Development Events and Career Development Events, I have become a much better speaker than I was previous to high school. FFA brought me out of my shell and has driven me to become a leader and example to others.
Elizabeth Anders- I am a senior at Lamar Consolidated High school and I am my FFA Chapter President and the Southwest District Chaplain. I’m currently getting ready for the Fort Bend County Fair where I am raising a pig for the first time, a heifer for the third year and broiler chickens for the eighth year. I have competed in all the aspects of FFA; Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Public Speaking. I have been in FFA for the past four year and I have learned many life lessons from being responsible to budgeting my money.
