Texian Market Days: A Festival of Living History.

Light the fire and sound the cannons! The 33rd annual Texian Market Days festival is set for Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the George Ranch Historical Park in Richmond, Texas. Discover more than 150 years of Texas history with hands-on activities, battle re-enactments, music and entertainment, historic home tours, cowboys, food, artisan vendors and more! 

The tickets are $14 on-line or $15 at the door, for any Rotarians or Host Families that wish to attend.  The District will cover the cost for the 19 InBounds. 

The inbound students will be arriving at the George Ranch around 11 AM.  The plan is to enjoy the Ranch with the students doing their own thing for lunch.
 
At 5PM the group will meet at the EXIT and Rotary Richmond will coordinate getting everyone over to the Swinging Door for dinner!!!  The Swinging Door will cover the inbound students dinner!  A HUGE THANK YOU TO STEVE ONSTAD, owner of The Swinging Door BBQ Restaurant!!!  The cost for Rotarians and Host Families will be $15 per person. 
 
Dinner will wrap up at the Swinging Door by 7:00 PM. Host families and carpools/pickups will be coordinated to get everyone back home.
